Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Return Deadline
November 17

Once again, this year we as a school are wanting to minister to others by filling shoeboxes. Operation Christmas Child ministers the love of Jesus to children around the world in a simple, but meaningful way.
Packing items in Christmas shoeboxes is fun, but did you know that what comes out can be life changing?
- Churches use the shoeboxes to reach out to their communities
- Families find help and encouragement at the churches where their children receive their boxes.
- Children who receive shoeboxes often have the opportunity to attend The Greatest Journey, a 12-lesson discipleship Bible Study, where they learn to live for Jesus and share their faith.
Be part of the fun, be part of the change. For our children who are accustomed to having such an abundance of material things, packing a shoebox can be a powerful way to help them practice the concept that “giving is better than getting.”
If you would like to help us in this Mission project this season, you can donate new toys, clothing and personal care items for the shoeboxes our students will fill. You may also drop off your own shoebox filled with items to give to children around the world. You can also support this mission through monetary donations that we can use to purchase items to fill more shoeboxes or to cover the costs for Samaritan’s purse to ship these boxes to other countries.
If you choose to pack your own box, we ask if you are able to send in the $10 for the shipping cost of your box. For your family box it’s best to make the check out to Samaritan’s Purse. Boxes must be returned to our school no later than Friday, November 17th by 9am.
With our prayers that this will be the beginning of a beautiful holiday season and that our hearts will be filled with love and gratitude to our heavenly Father for all his blessings.
